EXCLUSIVE: Producer Sean Garrett’s Range Rover Towed & Auctioned To Pay $450k in Back Taxes
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Sean Garrett had his Range Rover towed away and then sold off at public auction due to his $450k unpaid tax debt.
Garrett is a well-known music producer and currently stars on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, dating reality star Karlie Redd.
According to court documents, Garrett parked his white 2011 Range Rover on a public street back in November. The car was towed away and taken to a tow yard nearby.
Garrett failed to pick up the car for 30 days. Under Georgia law, once a vehicle is there past a month, it’s considered abandoned.
The docs reveal that Georgia Department of Revenue filed a lien against him. The liens filed accuse Garrett of owing $459,218 in back taxes for 2010 and 2013.
Recently, a judge ordered that his Range Rover will be sold off at public auction. The proceeds will pay back a portion of the tax liens.
