Jada Pinkett-Smith Dated Will Smith While He Was Still Married – I Should Have Fell Back
Jada Admits Dating Will Smith While He Was Married
Jada Pinkett-Smith admits that she has some regrets when it comes to her relationship with husband, Will Smith. Specifically, she says that she should have waited to date Will, until he was no longer married.
Will’s first marriage was to Sheree Fletcher. The pair married in 1992. They had one son, Trey, born on November 11, 1992. They divorced in 1995.
Will married Jada in 1997.
During the debut of her brand-new Facebook talk show Jada tells Will’s ex-wife, Sheree, that she regrets dating him while he was technically still married. She says,
Because I did not understand marriage, I did not understand divorce. I probably should have fell back.
Sheree replied,
You think?
During their heart-to-heart, the pair also recall an awkward moment on the phone, which resulted in Jada hanging up on Sheree. Sheree says she once called Will and Jada’s home, to speak to her son Trey. She says that Jada picked up the phone, didn’t like the tone of her voice, and hung up. Sheree laughingly recalls,
I called back and I happened to say, ‘B*tch, you’re living in a house I picked out’. You said, ‘It’s my house now.’
Both women erupted in laughter remembering the moment.
