French Montana Celebrates Ramadan

Rapper French Montana posted up on Instagram to let everyone know how he’s celebrating during the month of Ramadan:

French Montana (born in Morocco) is of Muslim faith and Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim year. This holy month is based on a calendar that goes by the lunar cycles of the moon. Ramadan is considered to be the most sacred month in which Muslims fast during the day, abstain from sex, and don’t drink alcohol. To break their fast, Muslims will pray and usually will have a big meal after sunset.

In an interview from 2014, then girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian explained how the two were abstaining from sex during Ramadan out of respect for his faith.

There’s no sex during Ramadan.

She jokingly added,

That’s so fun.
