‘Roseanne’ Canceled Over Racist Tweet
That was quick! ABC has pulled the plug on Roseanne”canceling the show. ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement,
Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.
As previously reported, the star of the show came under fire for making a racially charged tweet about Obama’s former aide, Valerie Jarrett. Rosanne later apologized and said that she was leaving Twitter. [Click here for the backstory.]
