Ne-Yo and Wife Crystal Smith Welcome New Baby, Share Scary Details of Delivery
Congratulations are in order, Ne-Yo is a dad again! Just in time for Father’s Day! The 38-year-old World of Dance judge and his wife Crystal Smith welcomed their second baby together on Thursday (June 14th).
Crystal, 29, took to Instagram Friday to share the arrival of Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, was born at 2:11pm, weighing six pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches long.

In another post Smith shares what led to a less than ideal delivery. Saying she had a birth plan in place, but after visiting the doctor Thursday she was immediately rushed to the hospital and into surgery. Smith says,
Roman wasn’t doing well in my womb and had to be taken immediately or the doctors feared the worst.

This is Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, fourth child. The “Miss Independent” singer and Crystal also share a 2-year-old son named Shaffer. The singer also has a 6-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with Monyetta Shaw.
