Did Iggy Azalea Reveal Her New Album Cover?
Everybody loves a great comeback, and that is just what rapper Iggy Azalea is hoping to do. In an attempt to follow up the platinum success of her debut album, “The New Classic,” Iggy is prepping a new project. Her long-delayed second album, “Surviving the Summer (S.T.S.)”, drops July 6th. The “Fancy” rapper dropped a Quavo-assisted song called “Savior,” earlier this year. However, her recent social media pictures have been getting even more attention. As we previously reported, Azalea posed nude for a recent photo shoot. She posted a photo on her Instagram page with the caption,
Sometimes all you need is a good pair of heels @fashionnova
Iggy also included photos where she is dressed in a cream bikini that shows off her curvy hourglass figure. The rapper who became engaged to NBA player Nick Young during his birthday celebration in 2015, called off their engagement in June 2016 for cheating with his ex girlfriend, baby mama Keonna Green. Well if her Instagram is any indication, 2018 is comeback season for Iggy. In a recent video, her over 11 million IG followers got a sneak peek into her project roll out. The video, which she titled,
“JULY SIX” showed her swimming in a pool with $100 bills in it.
Another post showed her in the same pool, laying among the money.
“POWER” is the caption of still another picture from the sexy photo shoot.
No word yet if any of the recent photos are in fact the album cover for the long awaited ‘Surviving the Summer’ project but we will keep you posted with the details. Iggy, who celebrated her 28th birthday earlier this month said,
Say what you want about me posting pictures on instagram but honestly, it gives me something else creative i can focus on – when sometimes im in a dark place or i feel stagnant. Most days i want my project to drop, yesterday! but i dont get to make those choices.
The rapper also shed light on how she’s battled with depression and anxiety by being in the industry, posting,
Its not easy when you are fundamentally someone who struggles with depression and anxiety but im hopefull still everytime that maybe, eventually things will change. please know im doing everything i can. i really care, for you guys. and i love your messages you send me. thanks.
