Nick Young – I Was Just Joking When I Said Everybody Needs To Do Cocaine

Nick Young (aka ‘Swaggy P’) has been known to be controversial. Back when he was a member of the Lakers he had an ill-fated relationship with rapper Iggy Azalea. Their engagement was called off after it was discovered by Iggy that he was cheating on her with his baby mama, Keonna Green. The shooting guard / small forward eventually went to the Golden State Warriors and won his first NBA Championship this year. His contract with the Warriors expired at the end of this season and was worth $5.2 million. He enters free agency July 1st as an unrestricted free agent, and is not expected to be re-signed by the Warriors.

The subliminal shots the 11 year NBA vet took at his ex-girl, were nothing compared to shocking comments he made last night outside the 1 OAK nightclub in Los Angeles. A cameraman asked Nick to comment on Canada legalizing marijuana. “I want people to pass cocaine,” he said, shocking the interviewer. “Everybody needs to do cocaine,” the 33 year-old said. Naturally, NBA fans are not embracing his controversial statements. Amid the backlash, Nick took to social media to try to clean up his mess.

“Chill. You know I was just joking,” Swaggy P posted on his Instagram. “Clearly dnt take noting I said serious … I was just being funny … y’all know me.”
