Drake Confirms He’s A Dad, Denies Hiding Son: I’m Embarrassed To Tell My Parents I’m A Co-Parent

As expected, Drake is addressing rumors that he is in fact a father on his new album ‘Scorpion’. He released the 25-track album at midnight. On a track called “Emotionless,” he confirms that he has a son. He rhymes,

I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world
I was hiding the world from my kid.

On another part of the track he says,

I used to challenge my parents on every album
Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent.

I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe

That shit is in stone, sealed and signed
She not my lover like Billie Jean
but the kid is mine.

He also says he’s only met him once,

I only met you one time, introduced you to Saint Nick.

You haven’t met your grandfather yet, that n**** a trip.

As previously reported, it was revealed that Drake had secretly fathered a child with a former stripper and porn star named Sophie Brussaux. The secret was revealed in a diss track by Pusha T.

Drake has yet to release an official statement.
