Dave East Involved In Brawl Following Yacht Party In New York

Over the weekend, Dave East was hired to host an all-white yacht party at Pier 40 in New York. Things appeared to be going smoothly until at some point during the evening, as the Harlem rapper was leaving the event, an altercation ensued.

It’s unclear what started the fight, but it involved several members of East’s crew. The scuffle spilled outside of the yacht with East jumping in. According to multiple videos being posted, it appeared that the fight was between members of East’s crew and security. At least one member of security suffered injuries to the face.

East posted a photo of a small cut to his thumb with the caption “I just be tryna chill” to his Instagram Story. He deleted the photo soon after.
