Jill Scott’s Comments About Her Husband At Concert May Have Violated A Court Order
It appears that Jill Scott‘s messy divorce drama continues. Scott and Michael Dobson called it quits after 19 months of marriage. The split has been everything but amicable. In February, the singer was granted a restraining order from the judge that prevents her ex from speaking about their divorce in public. In return, she also must refrain from speaking about their split. However, many are questioning whether a little outburst she had at a concert in Atlanta may have violated that court order. During a show earlier this month, Scott told fans at the Fox Theater,
You lose space and time, and somehow you wake up and you get up knowing. I did that, I lost someone and I hope he’s here.
Many fans believe that Jill Scott was referring to her ex, Michael Dobson, with fans in the crowd even chanting that she should go get him back. Dobson happens to live and work in Atlanta so it’s not unlikely that the connection could be made. According to Bossip, Dobson’s legal team is well aware of the outburst and plan to warn Jill and her lawyers about her actions.
