As time goes on, we are learning more and more about the making of Drake‘s “In My Feelings” music video. So far, we know that the video is being shot in New Orleans, which makes perfect sense considering the New Orleans bounce influence producer BlaqNmilD brought to the track. The single also samples slain New Orleans rapper Magnolia Shorty.
Karena Evans serves as Drake’s music video director once again. The Canadian born director is also behind Drake’s “God’s Plan”, “Nice for What” and “I’m Upset” videos. “In My Feelings” began shooting during 4th of July weekend.
Drake and crew returned to New Orleans this week to continue shooting. This time he brought along a few friends.
Comedian Shiggy, who was responsible for the viral #InMyFeelingsChallenge was on set. He even pressed Drake about an internet rumor that is floating around. According to social media, Drake paid Shiggy $250k for helping him take the song to #1 on the charts. However, Shiggy says that isn’t the case — though it would be nice.

Drake also appears to be wearing gold teeth in the new video.

It appears that Big Freedia may also be in the video.
It’s safe to say the video will be coming very soon.
