Domestic Violence Case Against XXXTentacion Dropped
Allegations of XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, abusing his former girlfriend Geneva Ayala, plagued the late rapper for years up until his murder on June 18. According to Ayala, who dated the rapper two years ago, XXXTentacion would emotionally and physically abuse her, even going as far as sexually assaulting her with a barbecuing utensil. She says the abuse continued even while she was pregnant with his child. Despite the alleged abuse she received from the rapper and subsequently his fans, Ayala says she was “broken” to learn of XXXTentacion’s death.
Aside from the domestic violence claims, XXXTentacion was also facing multiple counts of witness tampering due to the belief that he coerced Ayala into no longer cooperating with the police. The charges against him have been dropped due to his untimely death.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the Florida rapper’s death. They are all awaiting trial.
