WNBA Star Brittney Griner Gets Engaged Again Two Years After Divorce
WNBA star Brittney Griner is trying her hand at love once again after a messy divorce left her paying nearly $3,000 a month in child support for a child she was not genetically tied to.

Now, Griner has found love again. The basketball player has just proposed to Cherelle Watson, whom she met in college. Griner announced the engagement on Instagram:
It’s official @iloverelle__ said yes and made my life. I’m so lucky to have you in my life forever. You never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself. You have pull me from the ashes and held me up when I couldn’t stand. You really are my backbone and my spirit that keeps me going. I love you baby. #TheGriners #SheSaidYes
Cherelle expressed her happiness about the engagement on Instagram as well.
Yes ! Yes! And YEEESS! Through highs and lows, you know some of the best and worst parts of me! You are my best friend and biggest advocate! Truly a blessing to be able to do life with you ! I love you!
This will be Griner’s second marriage. The first marriage to fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson lasted 28 days. Just weeks after they tied the knot, the couple was expecting a child together. Unfortunately, their happy family did not last very long. Hopefully, things will work out better for Brittney the second time around.
