The Game Gets Into Fist Fight w/ Jarion Henry During Basketball Game, Later Apologizes

The Game Gets Into Fight With Jarion Henry During Drew League Basketball Game
On Sunday afternoon, things got heated during the Drew League game between Birdie’s Revenge and Redemption. As a member of Redemption’s team was at the free throw line, The Game, who plays for Birdie’s Revenge, got into a scuffle with his teammate, Jarion Henry. As of now, it’s unclear what caused the fight but it was likely due to the high tensions from this being a close game in the second round of the playoffs. From various videos, it appears that Game punched Henry before the two squared up for a one-on-one. It seems Game lands a second punch before the fight is broken up.
Following the altercation, Game apologized to both the Drew League and Henry, calling Henry his little brother.
I’ll take the blame and responsibility for it as well as the events (altercation) that led up to it. I say that to say, I’m writing this sincere apology 1st and foremost to my teammate and lil brother Jarion Henry for my role in our disagreement that went a lot further than it should’ve. I acted out of character and although as brothers for the last 7 years and one of my teammates I definitely consider family…there are always heated moments on the court and in our locker room but it should never get to where it got today. So again, this is my apology fam. I love you like my own little brother and I keep replaying the moment in my mind wishing we both let our tempers pass as we usually do but today it got out of hand.
You can read the rest of The Game’s apology below. It has since been deleted from Instagram.
