Tekashi 69 Could Face Up To 3 Years In Child Sex Case, YG Reacts
Tekashi 69 could possibly be seeing jail time after all thanks to his inability to stay out of trouble. Prosecutors are on the rapper’s neck after he may have violated his 2015 plea deal by getting arrested twice.
In 2015, Tekashi 6ix9ine, 22, pled guilty to charges of using a child in a sexual performance. He admitted to posting videos of a 13-year-old girl engaging in oral sex with another man as he stood behind her. The video also showed the young girl sitting on Tekashi’s lap as the other man fondled her chest. The rapper claims he did not know the girl’s age. In a plea deal, Tekashi agreed to get his GED, complete 300 hours of community service and stay on the straight and narrow for two years to avoid having to register as a sex offender. He was told if he got into trouble, did not complete his community service or did not pass his GED, he could face one to three years in prison. Tekashi completed the community service, however, in October 2017, he failed to complete his GED so his original two-year deal was extended. He’s also been arrested twice since then, once for choking a 16-year-old boy in Texas and another time for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

Assistant District Attorney Sara Weiss says that Tekashi’s recent arrests are a violation of his plea agreement and is requesting he serve time.
“He has violated his plea agreement. The defendant should be sentenced to a state prison sentence of one to three years.”
Tekashi’s gang affiliation could also land him in jail. The prosecutor writers:
Hernandez has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in an otherwise lawful life. He has failed to do so. Defendant’s new assault charges, his self-proclaimed status as a member of the 9 Trey Bloods, and his conduct related to that gang, seriously compromise his prospects for rehabilitation.
Rapper YG isn’t sympathetic towards the news regarding 6ix9ine. The two are currently engaged in a beef and YG shared his thoughts about Tekashi’s possible jail time on social media.
