Danity Kane Reunites, Announces Tour
Danity Kane is back…again! After a four year hiatus, Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, and Dawn Richard – also known as DK3 – have announced their reunion and imply that new music is on the way.
Shannon posted a new promo photo of the three of them with the caption:

Danity Kane was formed in 2005 after a season of auditioning for the group during Diddy’s Making the Band 3 reality show on MTV. At the end of the second season, Aubrey O’Day, Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgett, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres were selected as the group’s members. Fans followed the group for a third season before they moved on from the show.
In 2006, Danity Kane disbanded for a first time. In 2013,their reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards. This reunion happened without founding member D. Woods. Shortly thereafter, Aundrea Fimbres had gotten pregnant and announced she was leaving the group again during the first stop of their reunion tour. Since then, Dawn, Aubrey, and Shannon have released music as DK3.
Eventually, Aubrey and Shannon moved on without Dawn and formed a twosome, releasing music as Dumblonde. Dawn went on to release both solo music and music with her former boss Diddy in the group, Dirty Money.
Dawn recently appeared on the season three premiere of “Insecure” on HBO. She gushed about the experience on Instagram.
DK3’s upcoming tour includes dates in New York, LA, Chicago, and Atlanta.
