Lamar Reveals He Had 12 Strokes & 6 Heart Attacks While In A Coma

Back in 2015, Lamar Odom was hospitalized after the former NBA player was found unconscious at a brothel after a long drug binge. Throughout the years, Lamar has struggled with drugs. He’s had a very hard life and just recently, found his happiness and announced that he would be returning to the game of basketball, playing professionally overseas.  Now, Lamar is taking an emotional look back at the terrifying drug overdose that nearly claimed his life.

Odom was a guest on Kevin Hart’s YouTube series, “Cold as Balls,” where he opened up about his trauma as the two sat in a tub of ice. Lamar said,

“It’s a good day to be alive considering the alternative. Yeah, all my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in my coma.”
