EXCLUSIVE: Ex Love & Hip Hop Star Tahiry Jose Drops Lawsuit Over Alleged Brutal Attack
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” cast member Tahiry Jose has dropped her legal battle over an alleged brutal attack at a fashion show in 2014. The former VH1 reality star is dismissing the people behind the show and venue from her lawsuit.
Back in 2015, Tahiry sued a man named Carlos Fiasco (aka Charles Suggs) over a alleged brutal attack backstage at show during New York Fashion Week. She accused the man of beating her up and dragging her by her hair. She also sued the fashion show and the venue where the assault is alleged to have gone down.
Fiasco would later plead guilty to the attack, but avoided serving jail time.
She claimed the attack by the man cost her $31k+ in medical bills, claiming her injuries including several disc injuries, wrist derangement, concussion, post-traumatic headaches and a cervical sprain. Tahiry demanded the full $31k plus damages for lost work and other pain and suffering.
On August 31st, docs were filed by Tahiry and the other parties including the venue and the people who put on the fashion show, which show they have reached an agreement to drop all claims against them.
