Claudia Jordan Lands Radio Show, Replaces Steve Harvey In Dallas Market
Claudia Jordan Lands Radio Gig A Host For Dallas Morning Radio
Claudia Jordan has landed a new opportunity as a radio host. The former reality star is now taking her talents to Smooth R&B 105.7 with former Houston, TX radio host and comedian, Rudy Rush. The two radio personalities will be co-headlining their own morning show in the Dallas, TX area.
Jordan, who starred on the seventh season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, has previously developed her radio personality skills on Jamie Foxx’s radio show called The Foxx Hole, where she was able to deliver raw and unfiltered content to Sirius XM Radio subscribers. She also recently conducted a few interviews alongside Michael Eric Dyson’s digital series, The Raw Word.
Sources tell us they got rid of Steve Harvey’s morning show in Dallas and will be moving in Claudia and Rudy. The radio and television personality delivered the news about her new position to her Instagram followers on Tuesday. In a photo captured with Rudy and Jordan side-by-side, she wrote,
“Dallas! Meet your new Smooth R&B Radio Morning Show co-hosts! Me and @rudyrush will be taking over 105.7 in Dallas starting Monday September 24th. If you don’t live in the Dallas Area please download our app SmoothR&B 105.7 to hear us online no matter where you live and catch all the shenanigans. Thanks for all the love and support!”
With Dallas being the fourth largest radio market in the country, sources also tell us both hosts are excited for the opportunity due to the amount of experience they each have and have major plans for their listeners, considering how large the market is. Aside from radio, Rudy Rush has had a career as a comedian, as well. Houstonians might recall his name for his afternoon show as The Afternoon Rush, for Houston’s 93.7 The Beat. Their new show will be called The Morning Rush with Claudia and Rudy.
