Geoffrey Owens – Nicki Minaj’s Team Hasn’t Reached Out To Donate $25K, But I’ll Give It To Charity If She Does
Geoffrey Owens Denies Hearing From Nicki Minaj For The Donation Of $25,000
Although Nicki Minaj has pledged to give $25,000 to former Cosby Show actor, Geoffrey Owens, she has yet to follow up on her word – according to reports. Minaj originally mentioned she would be donating the money on her Queen Radio show to the formerly struggling actor, after a photo of him working at Trader Joe’s as a cashier went viral.
Minaj’s pledge followed after Tyler Perry extended an opportunity for Owens to appear on his OWN drama The Have and the Have Nots. As Owens has accepted Perry’s offer, and most recently, another spot on NCIS: New Orleans, he has still yet to receive the offer from Minaj, or be in contact with anyone from her camp.

Despite the fact of the “Barbie Dreams” rapper using her social media platform to extend the donation, new reports are detailing Owens is not looking for handouts. And if he is to be a recipient of the generous amount, sources say he plans to donate the money to his favorite charities. It’s important to note that this week on her radio show, Minaj told listeners that she was trying to reach out to Owens and his team.
