Denzel Washington Allegedly Leaves Boxing Match After Being Confronted By Las Vegas High Roller
Denzel Washington Was Asked To Move Out Of A Seat That Wasn’t His
Denzel Washington was in Las Vegas recently for the boxing match between Gennady Golovkin-vs.-Canelo Álvarez, but before he could enjoy the fight, he was confronted by a Las Vegas high roller. Reportedly, the Fences actor was sitting next to former Lakers player, Norm Nixon, and was asked to move out of his seat because it apparently belonged to the high roller. Sources say the high roller approached Washington and said,
I love you, but you’re in my seat. This isn’t a movie. There’s no stuntman. This is real life.
Consequently, Washington got up from the seat and left the fight.
When asked for more details about the verbal exchange, a rep for Washington stated,
I don’t know a thing about it.
