Garcelle Beauvais Apologizes After Posting Photo Kissing Will Smith

Garcelle Beauvais wished Will Smith a happy birthday in what is being considered in an inappropriate fashion. The actress, shared a vintage photo of Smith and herself making out from their 1999 film “Wild Wild West” on Tuesday, in honor of the actor’s 50th birthday. Within the tweet she wrote,

A birthday kiss for a birthday boy #WillSmith happy 50th.

A user responded to the tweet,

You better take this down [before] Jada [goes] on a Twitter rant.

The Jamie Foxx Show actress replied,

Bring it. Lol.

The actress got backlash for her happy birthday for being received as inappropriate.

An Instagram user stated,

Women can be so disrespectful… wow. I’m sure there were other screens in the movie you could’ve used ma’am.

While another chimed in,

We know it’s from a movie set still INAPPROPRIATE

She later confirmed that the picture was from a movie set and Jada was allegedly present, on set, when the scene took place.

She also sent a tweet, apologizing for her actions, explaining it was supposed to be a joke.
