Will Smith Bungee Jumps Over Grand Canyon For 50th Birthday
Will Smith Celebrates His 50th Birthday by Bungee Jumping Over the Grand Canyon
Actor/rapper Will Smith can now say he’s hopped out of both a taxi cab on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and a helicopter!
Smith recently celebrated his 50th birthday by bungee jumping into the Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona. He posed for a flick with his talented family – wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, daughter Willow, and sons Trey and Jayden. He even used his very own hashtag! His caption reads:
“@willsmith My Squad holding me down for my big 5-0. We’re gonna start live streaming on my YouTube soon, link in bio #willsmiththejump”
Will wanted to make sure his equipment was secure before jumping out of a helicopter, “Big Willy Style!”
And finally, he took the chance of a lifetime, landing a successful jump! Will Smith aired his bungee experience live on his YouTube channel.
Will commented on the reward of conquering his fear of bungee jumping. He said:
“Nothing will ever be scarier than that. It goes from complete, absolute terror to the most magnificent bliss you’ve ever felt in your life.”
He continued:
“And I don’t know what it is, when the cord works – first of all, you happy the cord worked, right. Then it’s like the whole Grand Canyon is mine. I’m just kinda hanging there and the choppers far away – you’re not really hearing it – it’s like just bliss and it’s like nobody will ever have that view. It’s like me and the Grand Canyon, it’s like that combination. It’s almost like you need terror to experience the bliss.”
Happy Birthday, Will Smith!
