Charlamagne Cancels Event w/ Kanye

Charlamagne has pulled the plug on an event he had scheduled with Kanye West. The radio personality had planned an event this week to promote his new book, “Shook One. Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me” with the controversial rapper. However, today, Charlamagne announced that he was canceling the event. He wrote,

“Normalizing being mentally healthy is a conversation that I really wanted to have with Kanye because he’s been so vocal about his own mental health struggles. Unfortunately I think to have that conversation with him right now would not be productive and a total distraction from the point of the convo which is to eradicate the stigma of mental health especially in the black community.”- ME.

The cancelation comes amidst Kanye’s return to social media. The rapper has yet to respond.
