R.Kelly – Jocelyn Savage’s Family Launches ‘Abuse Hotline’ Against Singer
Tim and Jonjelyn Savage, the parents of Joycelyn Savage, the young lady they say was being held captive and brainwashed by R. Kelly, have set up a hotline to help other alleged victims. Tim and Jonjelyn first accused R. Kelly of keeping their daughter away from them in 2017. From there, a huge media storm occurred, with other women coming out and claiming they had been part of R. Kelly’s “sex cult” at one point in time. The Savages say that other women and parents have also opened up to them about the abuse they’ve endured at the hands of the singer and since so many of them were scared to speak out, they’ve decided to start the R. Kelly Abuse Hotline. Jonjelyn Savage says,
One reason I feel that he’s been getting away with a lot of the allegations for the last two decades is because people feel he has money and power and they don’t have the resources to fight him.
On the hotline, callers can leave calls detailing their experiences. The Savages hope to be able to use this as evidence against R. Kelly. Jonjelyn says,
There’s no age limit on being mind-controlled, drugged, brainwashed, there’s no age limit on that. So the more we have more young ladies or even men, or parents that are willing to speak out, the more we think it can help our daughter as well as helping other victims.
Recently, R. Kelly’s ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, was a guest on The Real where she detailed abuse that she experienced while married to the singer.
