Mike Tyson Shopping TV Series About His Weed Farm
Mike Tyson may be coming to the small screen. The boxing legend has proven time and time again that he’s a Jack of all trades, and this time two of his talents will join forces. Mike is reportedly shopping a new sitcom to networks called “Rolling With the Punches.”
The show will be a scripted series about Tyson’s California cannabis farm, Tyson Ranch. His co-star will be comedian Russell Peters, who was the first comedian to star in his own Netflix stand-up special. Russell will play the role of Mike’s “useless best friend.” Mike Tyson explained the premise of “Rolling With the Punches”.
“It’s simple. I’m playing a retired boxer who is growing marijuana. It’s basically me acting like me, so people can get a look at what my life could be like in different scenarios.”
This isn’t Tyson’s first time flexing his acting chops. He starred in his own one-man show, both on Broadway and in Las Vegas, called, “Undisputed.” In this play, he acted out notable aspects of his life from his perspective – which was met with rave reviews.
Would you tune in to “Rolling With the Punches?”
