Kim Porter Viewing Held – Family Releases Statement Ahead of Funeral, Faith Evans to Sing
Kim Porter’s family has released a statement in memory of her life. The statement reads,
God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her. Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend. She was the epitome of kindness and grace. There wasn’t a person she met who’s soul she did not touch. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better. Although we’ve lost our best friend, God has gained a special angel and we know she is watching over us. She will be forever remembered and missed by so many. As a family, we promise to honor her every day of our lives. We love you always. The Porter, Goodwin and Combs families.
Reportedly, Kim will be laid to rest in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia today.
Here’s footage of her hears arriving.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the father of Kim’s three children, is said to have planned an elaborate home going service, which will allegedly be done by mega preacher Bishop Jakes.
Reportedly, Kim’s service will be extravagant with her casket traveling by a horse and carriage. Singer Faith Evans will reportedly sing at the service.
A private viewing was held on Friday. Last week, a private memorial service was held at Diddy’s Bel Air home. Kim, who was 46, leaves behind 4 children: three with Diddy and one with singer Al B. Sure.
