Trailer For Donald Glover And Rihanna’s “Guava Island” Movie Revealed
What appears to be a teaser from the film Donald Glover and Rihanna have been shooting in Cuba has just hit the internet.
Glover and Rihanna have been secretly working on the film Guava Island for some time now. A photo from the two superstars on set went viral back in August. During the Pharos festival at Tapapakanga Regional Park in Auckland, New Zealand, they aired the trailer as a special surprise for fans. It was an entire 2 minutes that left everyone wanting more.
At the beginning of the teaser, Glover’s character is shown singing and playing the guitar. He refers to Rihanna’s character as his girlfriend. In the trailer, he says,
What’s wrong with me is that we live in paradise, but none of us have the time or the means to actually live here. We work hard. We deserve a day off. We’re just taking what’s ours.
The film also stars Black Panther star Letitia Wright, British-Nigerian actor Nonso Anozie and is directed by Hiro Murai, who is also a director on Atlanta and directed Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” video.
