Reggie Bush Sparks Flu Vaccinations Dialogue
Reggie Bush Discusses Flu Vaccinations on Social Media: “Education is key!”
Former NFL Star Reggie Bush has taken a step back from running plays as a football retiree, and is now participating in his own kind of civic engagement. In attempt to education himself and others, he reached out to his Twitter fam to spark dialogue about flu vaccinations. He started with this tweet:
“I’ve been reading and watching videos on flu vaccinations and other vaccinations for kids and they dangers of them and the side effects, what do you guys think about that stuff? Are you for it or against it?”
User @ZachloyLoy feels Reggie should stay in his lane when it comes to health and wellness. He trolled Reggie with this reply:
“Do y’all get paid to say stupid shit? Since when is an NFL player an expert on this stuff? Lol”
Reggie responded, insisting that the mere conversation will get people to think about vaccinations in general:
“Zachary if you actually read my tweet before you got tight and responded, you would see that clearly I’m NOT an expert on the topic which is WHY I asked questions about vaccinations! As far as being an NFL Player well I’ve been retired for 2 years now but hey who’s counting”
Yahoo Sports published an article shortly after Reggie Bush engaged with his social media followers, insinuating that Reggie pushed an “anti-vaccine rhetoric.” Reggie responded:
“Now Jack Baer and Yahoo Sports you know I already don’t like you so chill with your incorrect click bait article! Go back and read my tweets and show me where I said “I am anti vaccines?””
