Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” Video Pays Homage to Teen Movies “Bring It On” And “Mean Girls”
Earlier this month, just days after her breakup with Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande poured her heart into a new song about her ex-boyfriends (Davidson, Big Sean, Mac Miller, etc) that ended up being well received by the public.
The song, “Thank U, Next” quickly took over the radio waves and now, after weeks of video teases, the official music video has been released.
Ariana premiered the video live on Youtube with upwards of 770,000 people tuning in to watch it at one time. The video paid homage to the teen cult classics like Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, and Bring It On. You’ll even be able to spot some special cameos from Kris Jenner, Troye Sivan, and Jennifer Coolidge and more.
