Dame Dash Accuses Clothing Manufacturing Company Topson Downs Of Stealing From Rachel Roy
Damon Dash has made a career out of calling out culture vultures and now that he’s a few million richer (thanks to his settlement from Lee Daniels) he’s turned his sights to clothing design and manufacturing company Topson Downs.
According to Dash, Topson Down, specifically Joe Wirht and his son Jackson Wirht, have allegedly been stealing from him and his family and taking advantage of his ex-wife. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Dash says Topson Downs is attempting to take the Rachel Roy clothing line away from them:
Now it’s time to point out the culture vultures in the fashion industry based on my first hand experiences…these are the dudes that have been robbing my family and taking advantage of a woman. The company is @topsondowns. You guys will not be robbing my family anymore and taking care of your own.
You really think you’re gonna just take @rachel_roy from our family?
Dash doesn’t go into specifics, but he posted 3 posts dedicated to the Wirht family. In one post he writes:
You’re not gonna keep bullying my culture, my family, my business and the mother of my children. You have already caught cases for that.
