Meghan Markel’s Dad Pleads For Daughter To Speak To Him: I’m Her Father

After being freshly appointed as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markles father Thomas is still on the outside of Kensington Palace, wishing to have a few words with his daughter. He claims he has been shunned and ghosted by his daughter, who has been residing inside the royal palace since May 2018.

The 74-year-old says,

I am disappointed by it. I’m not sure why it’s happening… I have been trying to reach out for several weeks, every day I try to text her, but haven’t received anything back.

Almost a week ago, Thomas released private notes from his daughter, attempting to prove the two had some sort of father/daughter relationship before she wedded Prince Harry. Thomas claims within his attempts to reach out to his pregnant daughter, he has refrained from participating with the media for at least six months. At this point, he hopes for Queen Elizabeth to step in,

I would appreciate anything she can do and I would think that she would want to resolve the family problems. All families, royal or otherwise, are the same and should be together at the holidays.

When presented with the reality of how Meghan’s new life is set up, Thomas believes there has to be a place for him somewhere.

There has to be a place for me. I’m her father and I will be the grandfather to her children. All I can say is, I’m here. She knows it. I’ve reached out to her and I need her to reach out to me. I love her very much.

It was announced in October Meghan would be expecting her first child with Prince Harry in Spring 2019. Harry, 34 and Meghan, 37 have been dating since 2016 and were married May 19, 2018.
