Basketball Wives’ Jackie Christie Debuts Completely Bald Head [VIDEO]

As more women are rejecting the traditional standards of beauty and presenting themselves on their own terms, several celebrity women have also followed suit.

When singer Tamar Braxton decided to shave off all her hair last year many were shocked, but perhaps she inspired the latest celeb to make the Big Chop…Basketball Wives star Jackie Christie.

If you’ve ever watched a single episode of the VH1 hit reality series Basketball Wives, you know that Jackie Christies is one of the most controversial and memorable parts of the cast. However, these days she’s calmer than in the past and perhaps this new lease on life is the reason for her latest decision to go completely bald.

Christie debuted the daring new look on her Instagram earlier this week, as she was shrouded in a burgundy fur coat and studded dark shades. She captioned the photo simply,

“Because Lions don’t play with Sheep.”

Since she hashtagged #BasketballWives, it’s safe to assume that filming for the series is currently underway. This means that viewers are sure to see Christie’s hair journey played out on the show, as well as the reactions from her cast mates. Christie had a very positive experience on the show last season, so it will be interesting to see what her storyline will be once the series officially returns.
