Nene Leakes Is Open To Rekindling Friendship W/ Ex RHOA Cast Mate Kenya Moore
Religious viewers of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” would argue it hasn’t been the same since Phaedra Parks left after the franchise’s explosive ninth season, others would suggest with Kenya Moore being absent, the shade isn’t as shady either.
Social media was in a frenzy when contracts were being sent out for the upcoming 11th season, and Moore suggested she wouldn’t be returning. The reality star claimed she and the BRAVO network could not come to a consensus on her salary for the impending season, but social media suggested Nene Leakes was the reason Moore wouldn’t be returning.
Although Leakes denied she had anything to do with Moore not coming back, the rumor caused a rift in their relationship, considering Leakes wasn’t invited to Moore’s baby shower in October 2018.
Recently, when asked if Leakes would amend the relationship with Moore, due to her and Phaedra becoming friends again, the RHOA veteran stated:
Listen, I’m not sure where Kenya and I went left. I really – all I can tell you was it was an all strategic move all on her behalf, because you know if you link your name with mine, you get a lil’ press. That is the issue there. The door is open for Kenya, and Phaedra, in my World.
Moore has not responded to Leake’s olive branch. She recently celebrated her daughter Brooklyn Daly making three months old Sunday (Jan. 27).
