BET Apologizes To Nicki Minaj

BET has apologized to Nicki Minaj. The network said in a statement,

BET loves Nicki Minaj. We have supported her from the very beginning of her career and will continue to do so moving forward. Nicki has paved the way for so many performers and has solidified her place as one of the most powerful figures in the music industry. Unfortunately the respect we have for Nicki was violatedd by this post that should never have been written.

As previously reported, Sunday night the network tweeted the following message after Cardi B won an award for the best rap album.

The tweet was deleted and Monday morning, Nicki Minaj responded announcing that she nor Young Money would perform at the BET Experience or participate in the BET Awards.
