Nick Cannon Kills Rumors He’s Replacing Wendy Williams

Nick Cannon is completely shutting down rumors that he plans to replace Wendy Williams. As you know, last week the multi talented actor, comedian and host filled-in on the Wendy Show. And after receiving rave reviews from fans, there were unconfirmed reports that he may be interested in trying daytime TV. Nick completely shut down this rumor. Sharing a clip from his appearance on the show, he captioned the post,

BTW Nobody can replace Wendy!!! There is and will only be one Wendy Williams! ?? I’m a fan. Sending Positive Vibrations & Praying for the Queen and her peace. She will be back on TV in no time!

As previously reported, Wendy has been on hiatus since December and has panels and individual hosts fill-in during her absence.

Her family released a statement earlier this year, updating fans on her health.

An official date for her return has not yet been released.
