Cardi B Returns To Instagram, Announces New Music With Bruno Mars

She’s back! After a short hiatus from Instagram, Cardi B returned to the social media platform to announce new music with Bruno Mars. As previously reported, Cardi deactivated her account after receiving some backlash over her recent Grammys win. Prior to throwing up the deuces to IG, she vented on Instagram. Fast forward to the present day and Cardi’s social media return accompanied her new music announcement. The pair posted their song artwork. In the image, Cardi and Bruno stand face-to-face with the rapper wearing a custom Bryan Hearns bra and shorts. She captioned the post,

“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with Bruno Mars.”

The two collaborated on Bruno Mars’ “Finesse” remix which went 2x platinum.

The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later led to Cardi joining Bruno on tour as his opener. Unfortunately, she later backed out due to her pregnancy.

Cardi continues her dominance on the charts as she currently has six songs on this week’s Hot 100, which is the most of any artist.
