Dawn Richard Lashes Out At BET After Ariana Grande Comparison – Disrespecting Black Women

Dawn Richard is calling out BET. The network tweet a message about Dawn’s new hairstyle being inspired by Ariana Grande. The tweet read

Not only is Ariana Grande the most followed person on Instagram now, but her latest ponytail is popping up on the heads of celebs like Dawn Richard! How do you feel about the look.

Dawn caught wind of the tweet and accused BET of not supporting her music and trying to pit women against each other.

BET has since deleted the tweet.

This latest BET controversy, comes weeks after BET apologized for shading Nicki Minaj. Earlier this month, Minaj pulled out of the BET Awards over a controversial tweet.

The network later apologized.
