Lil Uzi Vert Slammed W/ $600k Lawsuit For Missing Concert In 2018
Lil’ Uzi Vert has been hit with a hefty lawsuit for missing an October 2018 concert. According to reports, the Atlanta rapper has been sued by promoters for missing a show he agreed to in August 2018 at the Tuscon Convention Center in Arizona.
With the concert being cancelled, promoters were out $600,000. The lawsuit claims Uzi has:
failed or refused to schedule another concert date or reimburse (the promoters) for its expenses.
This is not the first time Uzi Vert has missed a show. In December, Uzi Vert was ordered to pay $30,000 for skipping out on a show in Texas in March 2017. In January, the rapper released a statement on social media claiming he was done with music. He was also expected to release an album later this year.
