Tamar Braxton Says She & Ex Vincent Herbert Are Friends Now, But Admits They Were Toxic Together – Our Marriage Had No Hope After Working Together

Singer and current Celebrity Big Brother champion Tamar Braxton is still riding high from her recent success on the popular game show—and she’s being giving a host of interviews lately. In her most recent one, she gets real about her relationship with her estranged ex Vincent Herbert, the drama with Dina and Lindsay Lohan, and much more.

In a new interview, she speaks candidly about her relationship with Vincent.

Fans were initially shocked to learn that Braxton and ex Vincent Herbert were divorcing amid a scandalous breakup that included abuse allegations, financial trouble, family feuding and more. However, Braxton has seemed to move on from the drama, courtesy of her new boyfriend and business ventures, but she did have some comments about her ex.

On her current status with Herbert, she said:

“Vince and I don’t work together anymore but I’m glad I got my friend back. Our relationship is great. Obviously, I never thought I’d be in this situation but I think it’s for the best. I think there’s hope that he’s happy and definitely hope for my own happiness because us together and working together was completely toxic. Our marriage had absolutely no hope after a few years of working together, the way we was working together.”

While addressing her historic Celebrity Big Brother win, Braxton was naturally asked about the offscreen drama that erupted between her and Lindsay Lohan, who initially posted comments on social media about Braxton being conniving and a liar.

Lohan later claimed her account was hacked, but Braxton still gave her take on the comments.

Of The Lohans, Dina and Lindsay, Braxton said:

“I don’t even know. In the house, I did my best to look out for her, you know. Maybe she told her daughter a story for her. Why would your mama tell you something that’s, she defended her mama and went all the way in.”

She continued, adding:

“Well we are going to keep the Lohan’s on the top of the prayer list. They have been there for about ten years. We are going to leave them at the TOP of the list.”

Braxton also discussed her overall Celebrity Big Brother experience, which she loved, but would never do again, saying:

“GOD NO! AIN’T NO CHECK, AIN’T NO CHICKEN.!”
