NeNe Leakes Explains Massive RHOA Fight & Reveals Infamous Closet
NeNe Leakes Debuts Infamous Closet After Infamous RHOA Fight
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is ready to tell the story of her closet fiasco on her own terms. On the most recent episode, NeNe was shown going completely nuts after warning cast mates Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss not to enter her closet. NeNe ripped the cameraman’s shirt to shreds during the scene.
That same night, the actress/reality TV star defended her right to go off on the RHOA ladies on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. NeNe said:
“If I tell you to visit me and ‘sit right here,’ you need to sit right here. You don’t have the right to go through my house and open up my doors, and go through my closets, my pantries – none of that…I don’t know why I have to explain anything about my home. If I tell you that you can’t go in my closet, you can’t go in my closet…I can’t just come to your house and do whatever I wanna do… Until you pay my mortgage, you are wrong!”
But, NeNe Leakes insists that there is more to the story. She explained that the wardrobe war was so explosive due to the fact that she had strict guidelines with the production team stating that she didn’t want cameras in her master bedroom. She said:
“Once they [the production team] learned that Greg had been re-admitted to the hospital, they said, ‘We know you don’t like to stay at home by yourself, so we would love for Marlo and Cynthia to spend the night with you. They talked to Marlo and Cynthia; theyw ere okay with it. As you see, they’re walking through the door with bags in their hands. Marlo has, like, a big straw bag. Cynthia comes through the door, and she has a bag. That’s ’cause they’re coming to stay overnight. So they ask me if me, Marlo, and Cynthia- could they capture us getting ready for bed. And I said, ‘Yes.’ So the only people that are supposed to be in my master bedroom is me, Marlo, and Cynthia.”
She continued:
“We were the only ones approved to go in my master bedroom. The next thing I said to my producer is, ‘No one is allowed to shoot in my closet.’ They asked me originally could I show my closet, and I said to them, ‘I cannot show my closet because my closet is not organized. I’ve been traveling for weeks. Greg has been in and out of the hospital. I have luggages laying in my floor. My closet is so unorganized, I wouldn’t want anybody to see it unorganized. I wouldn’t mind the girls seeing it if the cameras weren’t there.”
Now that NeNe Leakes’ closet is organized, we’ve been invited to see it for ourselves.
