Erica Mena Reacts To Rumors She & Safaree Were Fired From Love & Hip Hop Franchise
Erica Mena is responding to rumors that she and her future husband, Safaree Samuels, got the boot from the entire VH1 Love & Hip Hop franchise.
She responded to the reports on her Instagram story and wrote,
“The LIES!”
While Safaree has yet to respond to the speculation, neither of them has been quiet about their upcoming wedding on social media.
“Let’s just get married tomorrow!” Mena wrote earlier this week.
Safaree agreed and replied,
“I’ve been feeling like that ever since I proposed…tired of waiting.”
He also isn’t wasting any time in calling Mena his wife.
“My wife does anything to make me happy and that’s why I love and live to make her happy,” he wrote.
“You’re my world @iamErica_Mena I love loving you…”
Both Safaree and Mena have had high-profile relationships before falling in love with each other. We’ve seen many of their romances play out on the Love & Hip Hop franchise, from Mena’s run on Love & Hip Hop New York and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to Safaree’s spot on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood and Love & Hip Hop New York. Now, they’re planning a wedding together, whether their Love & Hip Hop New York co-stars like it or not.
Samuels popped the question on Christmas Eve.

They’ve set a date but haven’t gone public with it yet. It hasn’t been confirmed if their wedding will be televised. But in the meantime, anyone who’s a fan of their romance can watch their new YouTube series, I’m Crazy She’s Not.
