Yung Miami & Quality Control’s Pierre Thomas Visit Jailed Rapper JT
Miami rap duo, City Girls reunited for a new photo with Quality Control CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas. Yung Miami (real name Caresha Browlee), 25, made a visit to see City Girls rapper, JT (real name Jatavia Johnson), 26, while she’s still serving out her 2-year sentence for credit card fraud. Thomas, shares the update on Instagram adding his excitement for his artist release from behind bars.
“Can’t wait til you get home. #FreeJT”
Later, Thomas reflected on his rap label signing of the City Girls. Thomas says many “laughed at us” for signing the Miami rap duo. In an Instagram story, the CEO says,
“I remember they laughed at us signing the City Girls and we signed them knowing JT was going to jail. Who get the last laugh now? The point is don’t get distracted by other people thoughts just focus on your sh*t.”
As previously reported, we last heard from rapper JT in early February. In the video, JT drops her classic one-liner, she says,
“Can’t wait to get home to get that bag, get that money, and drop that music. PERIOD!”
JT turned herself in for her 2-year sentence last July. The Miami-bred rapper’s original release date was scheduled for March 2020. Since turning herself in, City Girls have dropped several big tracks, including “Twerk,” featuring Cardi B.
