Cardi B Gives Advice To Fans Battling Depression: Google Ways On How To Be A Millionaire & Think About How You’re Gonna Sh*t On People!
Many things have changed since Cardi B was a teenager in her hometown of Bronx, New York. Social media is, now, a way of life – which brings a whole new level of insecurity in the life of a high school student. She reflected on her teenaged days on Twitter, advising followers to experience life outside of their phones. Cardi said:
“I was a lit a** teenager!I had maaa fun in school ,I used to go to hookie parties ,teen bashes,shop in soho for hours..These new teenagers is getting lame they too focus on the internet.Live life! couple eyars from now you should have memories bout yourself not a celeb.”
She continued:
“A lot have depression cause ya be on the internet lookin at people with these fake perfect lifes, perfect body,perfect relationships.Depression is hard to shake off spend time with friends,close1 or with yourself do boards wit pictures of the things you dream make them your hobby”

She ended the rant by telling fans exactly how to overcome their depression.

Cardi B has some celebrating of her own to do. She recently took home the trophy for “Hip Hop Artist of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She told the audience that discouragement from haters has only motivated her to do better. She said:
“I gotta thank my haters, you know what I’m saying? Because y’all be saying mean things and y’all be thinking those mean things is gonna discourage me. But that just makes me go harder, because if everybody give me compliments, then, you know, I get comfortable! So you actually make me go harder. So thank you!”
She topped the speech off with a tongue wagging “Okurrr!” Classic Cardi!
