NBA Star Kevin Durant’s mother, Wanda Durant, has reacted to the news of Cliff Dixon’s tragic death. On Thursday afternoon, she shared am image of Cliff, writing,
The Durant family extends our deepest condolences & prayers to Cliff’s mother, siblings, family & friends. Our family was an extension of his & we shared wonderful memories. His transition is an incredible loss for all of us who loved him, he will be missed dearly #CliffDixon RIP
As previously reported, the deadly shooting took place in Atlanta, early Thursday morning, outside of SL Lounge in the 4000 block of Buford Highway. According to reports, police said the victim, Clifford Dixon, 32, had just arrived at the location when he was shot several times.
He was said to celebrating his birthday.
Cliff was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.
Cliff was close friends with Durant and was referred to as his ‘adopted brother’.
He also dated reality star Erica Mena, who sent her condolences on social media.
Cliff also dated reality star India Love, who shared her condolences.
