Wendy Williams’ Husband Kevin Hunter Releases Statement

Wendy Williams’ husband, Kevin Hunter, is speaking out addressing his wife’s recent revelation that she’s living in a sober house, battling an addiction. Kevin, who has been married to the talk show host for over 20 years, tells Entertainment Tonight:

“Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves.

He continues,

It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this a family process… and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”

As previously reported, earlier this week Wendy announced that when she finishes her morning show, she finishes her day with a 24-hour sober coach and lives in a sober living home. She told viewers,

“After I go to the Pilates, I go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area… I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to the home that I live in, here in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.”

Wendy’s announcement came amongst separate reports that she had been spotted entering the sober living home. It has also been reported that Wendy’s husband is having an affair with a woman named Sharina Hudson who is allegedly pregnant with Kevin’s child.

While Wendy has not addressed infidelity rumors concerning her husband, when she returned to the show earlier this month, she told viewers that she and her husband are still together. She stated.

I want to shout-out to my husband. I’m still wearing my ring. Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years – we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover – I know what you’ve been seeing, but hunty, let me show you who I fell in love with and who he fell in love with.”
