Erica Mena Reflects On Life After Ex Cliff Dixon Fatally Shot – Tell People You Love Them!
Erica Mena was vocal about the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Cliff Dixon, just days after he was shot and killed. Since then, she has taken to social media to reflect on life as a whole.

“Life is too short. Tell people you love them. Cherish them. Create amazing memories. Don’t take life or people around you for granted. Check on your ‘strong friends.’ Don’t go to bed mad. Say sorry! Love life! Love yourself! Love others & Always love God & put Him first! Trust Him and know that we all have a will, plan and purpose and God always got us!”
“We all fall short and that is okay. We just have to learn from our mistakes and grow from them. Hold yourself accountable and just do better!”

Dixon, who was also very close to NBA star Kevin Durant, was killed in an Atlanta shooting Thursday. Police arrived to the scene after reports of gunshots shortly after 1 a.m. They found Dixon shot in the parking lot. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was scheduled to undergo surgery. Investigators were still on a manhunt for the shooter.

Mena responded to news of his death on her Instagram story.
“Please love me while I’m still here… Nothing is promise Appreciate life”
She also shared a photo of Dixon when he was a little boy with the caption,
“We all deal with so much. You dealt with a lot. I’m so sorry this happened, you didn’t deserve this. Rest in forever peace. Watch over your blood sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and your mommy. I know they are so broken right now.”

Mena and Dixon split shortly after they were taken into custody for a domestic dispute and alleged marijuana possession in October 2018.
