Nipsey Hussle Laid to Rest: Stevie Wonder & Anthony Hamilton Perform, Lauren London Gives Emotional Tribute + Beyonce, Jay Z & Meek Mill Attend [Photos]
Adored Los Angeles rapper/entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle (real name, Ermias Asghedom) was laid to rest today (4/11/19) by thousands of family, friends, and celebrities with a sold-out homegoing service at the Staples Center.
The service included musical tributes by Marsha Ambrosious, Anthony Hamilton, Jhene Aiko and Stevie Wonder.
President Barack Obama eulogized him in a letter to his family.

Several close family members, including Nipsey Hussle’s parents, siblings, and children spoke about their beloved family member. Below are personal anecdotes from Lauren London‘s and Lil Wayne‘s son, Kameron Carter, and Nipsey’s brother, Blacc Sam.
Snoop Dogg, accompanied by his family, saluted his slain mentee with a moving speech.

His longtime girlfriend, actress Lauren London, sent him off with a speech ending with signature slogan – “The marathon continues.”
A few celebrities including: Beyonce, Jay Z and Meek Mill were in attendance.
After being buried, Nipsey Hussle’s processional surfaced a 25 mile route of his many business, hangouts, and childhood landmarks.
