Monica Refusing To Talk About Divorce On ‘T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle,’ Producers Upset

It’s been less than a month since R&B singer Monica filed for divorce from ex-NBA player Shannon Brown. Things have been relatively quiet for the Atlanta-based singer since then, but now she’s gearing up for the premiere of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle and producers are expecting her to talk about her divorce—but she’s refusing, according to reports.

As VH1’s reality series T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle gears up for its second season, many fans are hoping to find out what’s going on in the lives of the series’ stars, T.I., Tiny, Toya Wright, LeToya Luckett and Monica. However, Monica is allegedly angering series producers because she is refusing to be open about the most talked about aspect of her life at the moment…her divorce from Shannon Brown.

Reportedly, not only is Monica refusing to discuss the divorce on camera, she also won’t even say her ex’s name. Reportedly, her decision to not discuss the divorce is frustrating because it’s making it difficult to craft an interesting storyline for her. Despite producers repeatedly begging for her to open up about the dissolution of her marriage on camera, Monica continues to refuse to cooperate.

The trailer for the series gives the impression that Monica is an open book regarding her divorce, but that’s far from the truth. At one point n the trailer, she says that she never imagined being a single mother in her 30s—but that is the only time she ever references her divorce.
