Boxer Adrien Broner Upset Airport Security Stopped Him For Having Over 100k In Cash: It’s My Money, I’m Rich! [VIDEO]
It might not be the best week for Adrien Broner so far.
The boxer took to social media to reveal that he was stopped for having too much money while going through security at the airport.
“It’s ridiculous. They’re stopping me at the airport because I got over $100,000 with me. It’s my money, I’m rich. They’re telling me I can’t carry my money. That I worked hard for. That I put my life on the line for.”
His camera then showed wads of cash in a bin.
“It’s crazy. Look at this. I don’t sell drugs no more. I used to. They crazy. If y’all want the money y’all can have it. I ain’t trying to fight no police. I’m just trying to leave. I ain’t did nothing. This my money. I work hard for my money. Every dollar. I work hard for mine. They telling me I can’t fly with my money. It’s crazy.”
At the same time, a woman can also be heard telling him to “calm down.” See the clip.

Meanwhile, reports swirled that Broner was arrested this week for a battery charge. His bail was said to only be $200.
He hasn’t spoken out about his alleged arrest, but Andrew Caldwell, who has been going back-and-forth with Broner after the boxer claimed Caldwell kept flirting with him in his DMs. While Caldwell was later granted a restraining order against Broner, he couldn’t help but take advantage of the rumors.

Just last month, Broner was almost arrested for going back-and-forth with police in Miami, according to reports. He was allegedly jaywalking when a car beeped at him, and he hit the hood of the car and yelled at the person behind the wheel. Police, who were already in the South Beach area thanks to it being spring break, told him to bring it down or he’d be arrested. Broner then reportedly started yelling at the officers. He was handcuffed momentarily but he wasn’t taken into custody. He went on to enjoy his night at local clubs.
